Founded in 1964 with just 16 apple ranches, we’ve now grown to include unique fruit & vegetable farms, bakeshops, wineries, a Bed & Breakfast Inn, flower gardens, and Christmas tree farms. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Farm to Fork event such a success! It’s a pleasure to share our farms’ delicious summer bounty with you.
We’re thankful for all our farms, who provided wine, hard cider, juice, desserts, fruit, raffle items, flowers, volunteer time, and so much more.

There are so many delicious ways to enjoy the flavors of our Lavender Blue Harvest Days (coming up on June 21-22 and 28-29). One of our favorites is in Lavender Blueberry Shortbread Bars!
This simple yet impressive dessert combines fragrant lavender with juicy blueberries over a rich shortbread base. Get the recipe below! 👇
💜 🫐Lavender Blueberry Shortbread Bars Recipe
**Ingredients**
For the shortbread base:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
½ cup granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
For the blueberry topping:
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
⅓ cup sugar
2 tsp cornstarch
**Instructions**
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
Make the shortbread: In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and salt and mix until a crumbly dough forms. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan in an even layer. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
Prepare the topping: While the crust bakes, combine blueberries, lemon juice, lavender, sugar, and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat for about 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the berries burst and the mixture thickens slightly.
Assemble and bake: Pour the blueberry mixture over the hot shortbread crust and spread evenly. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
Cool and enjoy: Let the bars cool completely before slicing. Chill in the fridge for easier cutting. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
