Bring the Family to Apple Hill Grower Farms for Summer U-Pick Fun – from Fruit to Flowers

Looking for some family fun? Summer is a great time to visit the farms of the Apple Hill Growers. Several farms are offering interactive U-Pick experiences for their seasonal crops

  • 24Carrot Farms: Currently, visitors can pick their own strawberries now, and blackberries are available starting on July 28, 2022. Sunflowers, zinnias, marigolds, gomphrena, rudbekia, snapdragons, celosias and bachelor’s buttons can be picked and combined in stunning bouquets for $7 for ten stems. Sign up for their weekly newsletter for updates on what’s available as it changes every week.

       Open Thursday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Bluestone Meadow Farm: For one last weekend this year, there will be u-pick lavender. Then, no more u-pick lavender until next summer!  Stop by and pick a great looking, sweet smelling bunch for yourself or as gifts.

Open Saturday and Sunday, July 30th and 31st only from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Harris Family Farm: Flowers and marionberries are ripe for the picking right now. They’ll have fresh from the vine blackberries by the end of July. Come back for pumpkins this fall.

       Open Thursday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Smokey Ridge Ranch: Visitors can pick their own fresh bouquets from flowers grown right on the farm. In the fall, the ranch offers u-pick apples, pumpkins and chestnuts for those unforgettable holiday desserts and goodies.

       Open Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Check back in the Fall for other u-pick offerings (apples, etc). For more information and a map of the area, please visit and follow @applehillofficial on Facebook and Instagram for up-to-the-minute information.
