Join us for a lovely dinner at Rucksack Cellars on September 21, starting at 5:30, celebrating our club members. Nestled in amongst the pines and cedars overlooking the vineyards, it will feel like one of those classic evenings from the movies (where we all sit around and enjoy harvest, like there’s no work to be done!). The menu will feature Maggie and Paul’s paella, salad and dessert, all paired with Rucksack wines!

Now when it comes to paella, there are all sorts of different recipes. Although most people think of paella as being only a Spanish rice dish, we actually encountered it during our sabbatical in Cahors, France, where they would Rucksack sell it by the kilo in the market. For our paella, we use sausage, chicken, shrimp and chorizo (as well as onions, garlic, peppers, saffron, and of course, rice!).

As this is a small and intimate event, Club Members may purchase 2 tickets per membership at the Club price of $45.00. For the rest of us, it’s $50/person until it’s sold out. (And think about it. Wine and dinner for $50? That’s a steal!) Come out and enjoy food, wine, conversation and beautiful sunsets over the Rucksack vineyard.
