Apple Hill Growers Celebrate Mom Next Weekend
Moms are always working overtime, juggling work, children’s school, household management and more. The Apple Hill Growers are making it easy to celebrate your mom with a taste of the region.
No Mother’s Day is complete without a champagne toast! Our wineries are open, a few farms are offering flowers, plants and fresh veggies and the weather will be perfect for picnics. Here’s just a taste of how Apple Hill Growers are celebrating moms on May 8.
Boeger Winery – The “Taco Truck of Nurseries” Miridae Mobile Nursery will be selling native plants so your mom can get a head start on her garden!
Delfino Farms (Edio Vineyards) Come celebrate your mom with their Mother’s Day experience! Enjoy a Grazing Grouse box made specifically for moms along with a beautiful local floral bouquet. Reservations are required.
Fenton Herriott Vineyards – Treat your mom to an afternoon of delicious wine with fine cheese and chocolates, while listening to live music! Between 1:00 p.m and 4:00 p.m. and pick up a chocolate and cheese box and glass of wine of your choice then take a seat in the pavilion or picnic area to enjoy! Make a reservation to reserve a box.
Hidden Star Camino – Celebrate with 10% off a flight of hard cider for your mom and Shorty’s Doughnuts will be making floral themed donuts for Mother’s Day. Details here.
Lava Cap Winery – Bring a picnic and come raise a toast mom at Lava Cap with live music in the garden and new spring releases available to taste. No RSVP or tickets required. 10am-5pm. Parking fills up fast, so come early!
Madrona Vineyards – Join us for Mother’s Day Brunch from 9:30am – 1pm (last seating). We will be serving mimosas and cocktails made with our Fiore wine, Eggs Benedict, crepes, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit and pound cake. Pine O Mine – The ranch will open especially for Mother’s Day. Stop by for a picnic with some of our great ice-cold beer, hard cider and more! Details online.
Ponderosa Ridge B & B – Year Round! Treat your mom (or anyone!) to a fabulous getaway at our Bed & Breakfast. If we are booked, you can always schedule another weekend to treat your loved one or buy a gift certificate! Details HERE.
Smokey Ridge Ranch – Pick up lovely flower bouquets for moms (Saturday and Sunday) and enjoy housemade Sangria on Mother’s Day. Join us at the farm!
Wofford Acres Vineyards – The winery will celebrate all the mothers by offering a free wine flight of our wines and hard cider. Reservations are recommended.
