Madroña Pop-up with Paul and Maggie
Tuesday, March 9th from 5:30-6:30pm
Ah, so you missed last week’s Pop-up Zoom. We talked about Chardonnays, small business, vaccinations, Passport weekend, Cabernet Franc, outdoor tasting, Georgia’s blueberry surprise with extra corn starch, European wines, viticulture and softening tannins, amongst everything. We’re getting closer to solving the world’s issues, with maybe just another glass of wine.
So join us the next time and be in the know on Tuesday, March 9th at 5:30pm.

Virtual Tasting With Paul
Now and Then–Cabernet Sauvignon
Thursday, March 11th, 6:30-7:30
$75–one bottle of 2005 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and one bottle of 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
So we all know that Cabernet Sauvignon is super ageworthy. And we also know that mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon has the structure to take it that much further. But do you really know the whys and whens of Cabernet Sauvignon?
Here’s your chance to do a side-by-side tasting of an older Cabernet and a younger Cabernet from the same exact vineyards and the same exact winemaker. Just as with people, there are differences between a 15-year-old Cab and a 3-year-old Cab. You’ll learn what to expect and what to embrace in this virtual tasting as well as bits and pieces of trivia to impress all your pretentious friends.
