With the fall harvest underway, the Apple Hill Grower farms look forward to welcoming visitors soon. However, we ask that our guests be mindful of the situation related to the devastating Caldor Fire that is currently active in El Dorado County.
Due to the fire, Highway 50 was closed a few days ago. It remains closed from Sly Park Road in Pollock Pines to Meyers in South Lake Tahoe. There is no ETO for reopening right now.
Mandatory evacuations are now in place between Sly Park and Strawberry.
