Lavender Blue Harvest Days

lavender blues harvest

The Apple Hill Growers are celebrating lavender and blueberries at this month’s Lavender Blue Harvest Days on June 20 and 21 and June 27 and 28. These June weekends are the perfect time to visit Apple Hill farms for u-pick experiences, lavender and blueberry treats, crafts, artisan products and more. All the farms will be following the state and county reopening guidelines for COVID-19.

The lavender harvest is on full display at Bluestone Meadow Farm. Guests will be able to cut and make their own lavender bouquets, wreaths, wands or critters. An array of locally made products, including essential oils, soaps and lotions, will be available for sale. Families can enjoy
a wander through the Lavender Labyrinth and the Lavender Answer Guy will be on hand to answer guest’s questions about growing and using this wonderful crop. The farm is also home to some delightful alpacas that love to make new friends!

Because of social distancing reservations for Bluestone Meadow must be made in advance. It’s $10 per carload and reservations can easily be made online. If you can’t make it to the harvest days, the farm’s online shop is up and running for curbside pickup.
